General Topic: The Writing Process Date:8-16-10 Unit Duration: Grade: Rationale: Throughout the course of the next 6 lessons the students will be creating a short cartoon. Each lesson will focus on a certain part of the writing process culminating with the students working in groups of 2-3 to work on each individual part of their cartoon. The students will use the knowledge they just learned to go through the writing process and create a cartoon.
